Phil Yoon - CEO & President
Phil Yoon is the President of InteliSystems, a marketing consulting firm serving Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles area businesses and Korea-based companies and government agencies. InteliSystems’ services include the development and implementation of result-oriented marketing, sales, public relations, and channel partner programs. InteliSystems offers marketing consulting, online marketing, social media marketing, mobile marketing, and public relations.
He served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Atrium USA prior to becoming fully engaged in his consulting business. He was responsible for the V2oIP solution distribution in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He led the company’s marketing division into the Telemedicine, Hospitality, Home Automation, Point of Sale, and Video Conference markets. He also served as Vice President and Executive Director of GOMID USA. He successfully led GOMID USA into the US federal market by supplying Java browser solutions to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) under the National Institute of Health (NIH).
He founded InteliSystems in 2002 to provide advisory and consulting services to various Korean businesses that seek to enter and establish a strong foothold in US market. Phil had served as an advisor for Korea Business Development Center (KBDC), formerly the Korea Venture Center (KVC), from 2001 to 2003. In 2007, the Korea IT International Cooperation Agency (KIICA) certified Phil as an ITXporter and IT Export Advisor to assist Korean IT firms entering the U.S. market. Since 2008, he has been serving Washington Chapter Director for the International Network of Korean Entrepreneurs (INKE).
Phil has developed the expertise to mold business finance, infrastructure, and operations into business models that consistently and cost-effectively deliver value in the competitive high-tech arena. He has held positions of President, COO, Vice President, Executive Director, Marketing Director, Financial Analyst, and Sales Consultant. Phil also held financial and marketing positions at Silicon Graphics (SGI), Fannie Mae, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
Phil earned a B.S. in Economics from George Mason University, an M.B.A. with Academic Honor from the George Washington University, and completed the SEIT Executive Program from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has been a faculty member of the College of Undergraduate Business and Management, the University of Phoenix, Northern Virginia Campus since 2004.
Charlie Shin- COO & Executive Vice President
Charlie Shin is an Executive Vice President of InteliSystems, a marketing consulting firm serving Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles area businesses and Korea-based companies and government agencies. InteliSystems’ services include the development and implementation of result-oriented marketing, sales, public relations, and channel partner programs. InteliSystems offers marketing consulting, online marketing, social media marketing, mobile marketing, and public relations.
Charlie has extensive professional experience with keen business acumen. Charlie has developed his cross disciplinary expertise in finance, strategic planning, sales, marketing and operation. Charlie also has a solid foundation in global perspective with creativity and innovative entrepreneurial spirit
He worked as a General Manager of Goldmine World Inc., an electronic payment processing company. His major responsibility was to proactively identify, develop, manage and implement strategic marketing initiatives. His responsibilities also included management of all corporate operations including marketing, technical support, customer service, credit and risk management and processing operation. Charlie also served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Young Enterprise Systems, a systems engineering company which provides information technology solutions and advanced systems engineering services to government clients offering full life cycle technical and managerial for the specific customer environment. He was responsible for all business and financial aspects of the company. He was also responsible for establishing and managing all required business supporting infrastructure to support growth of the company into the highly profitable one.
Before his graduate study at the Wharton, Charlie worked at SK Global (currently SK Networks), a major global business company. He was actively involved in diverse company-wide global projects. He has successfully completed various financing transactions such as several syndicated term loans, US CP, shipping finance, leasing, asset-backed financing, project financing, convertible notes and various types of trade finance. His responsibilities also included project economics evaluation, financial analysis and modeling and development of financial strategy.
Charlie earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with dual major in finance and strategic management and B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.
